Hi there! 

I am so glad you found me. This blog has gone through evolutions over the years, and I am humbled to continue to have readers who have been here since the beginning in 2010!  I am a Columbus, Ohio mom, wife, and teacher who loves holidays, exploring new places, dabbling in photography after a stint in the professional world, and writing. I have found new purpose advocating for safer beauty and personal care items, as well as a less toxic lifestyle in general. 

In this era of my blog, it’s all about balance. Writing for me, writing for the documentation of my children, writing to connect with sisters (and brothers!) out there who share some common ground. I talk about hard things, I overthink things, I try almost everything. I am glad you are here.
